I am currently in Dakar at a UNICEF regional meeting. I was asked to provide information on the status of PBF in West and Central Africa. This is the latest information I have gathered so far on the different countries in Africa:
Benin : Presentation in Saly 03/2011. MOPH
Burkina : Presentation in Saly 03/2011. MOPH
Burundi : Presentation in Bujumbura 02/2011. MOPH
Cameroun : PBF has started in Litoral region, and is about to start in the Eastern, South-East, and North-East region. (WB project). A large voucher scheme is about to start in Extreme Nord, Nord and Amadaoua region (KFW/AFD funded, implemented by CARE)
Comores: Small supply-side PBF project. Funded by the French Development Agency.

vous nous donnez là accès à une véritable mine d’informations qui nous permettent de comprendre encore mieux les défis à relever dans la mise en œuvre du PBF en Afrique. Parmi toutes ces expériences, j’aimerais particulièrement m’imprégner de celle de la Côte d’Ivoire. Malheureusement, le lien ne fonctionne pas correctement. Pouvez-vous nous envoyer la présentation?
Par ailleurs, participerez-vous à l’atelier de Limbé au Cameroun? si oui, nous vous serons reconnaissants de bien vouloir partager avec nous les derniers développement de la mise en œuvre du PBF, surtout en Afrique de l’Ouest.
